Congratulations to Sean Diver, the winner of the Vivacity Vision photography competition. Sean recently moved to Sydney from Dublin, Ireland and his fresh personal perspective of the harbour city on New Year’s Eve stood out amongst the 1000 photographs entered into the competition.

As part of Vivacity Sydney, Sydney’s signature season of festivals and events, Sydneysiders and visitors, amateurs and professionals alike were invited to enter VivacityVision, a photography competition with a difference.

Kicking off with the world famous New Year’s Eve Celebrations on Sydney Harbour and ending with the biggest celebration of Chinese New Year outside of Asia, photographers took up the challenge to take a photo that would encapsulate Sydney’s vivacious attitude and the unique energy and buzz generated by events during January.

Over 1,000 photographs were in the running showcasing Sydney’s amazing diversity of event experiences.
