EVENT ASSISTANCE
Events New South Wales actively attracts and nurtures events that provide economic, strategic and/or community benefits to Sydney and/or regional New South Wales. We are keen to consider investing in and supporting events that:
- provide a substantial economic impact for Sydney and/or New South Wales on a medium to long term basis
- provide opportunities for the marketing and promotion of Sydney and New South Wales both nationally and internationally
- enhance Sydney’s international brand and reputation as a global city

This process helps us identify events which meet our requirements for assessment and also helps you identify how your event could be more fully developed before seeking assistance.

If you were able to answer Yes to 75% or more of questions on the checklist, you should consider submitting an initial application for event assistance.
Once your application for event assistance has been submitted you will be contacted by one of our Event Development Managers to discuss the information you provide as part of the assessment process.
